DESW Whitewood
Data East Star Wars whitewood. Notice the famous Wiffle Ball cut in half for R2-D2's dome.
John: "Note the board was designed for a 5 lane bottom. I was in the middle of revising when this picture was shot. Note the exit of the ramp was at the center line of the return lane guide. Also the inserts were off center. The square Star Wars inserts were not tooled yet so I used 1 1/2 round instead for the first boards." (picture provided by John Borg)

STAR WARS inserts are white on the prototype and red on production.
-
DESW Prototype 03
"Complete Bank To Lite Hyperspace" plastic is curved at the front. Not sure if this is due to age.
-
DESW Prototype 04
Plastic above the two bank X-Wing targets is also curved in the front. Matching the curve on the "Complete Bank To Lite Hyperspace" plastic. Again, not sure if this was intended or due to age.

Apollo 13 Capsule
"The Apollo 13 Capsule was a special edition that Jim Lovell signed. We had a plastic LEM that was mounted over a hole kicker on the AP13 game." (provided by John Borg)

DESW Signed Apron
This is where I had John Borg sign my game. I love this spot for a signature on a pinball machine. Non intrusive. It's like how an artist signs a painting.
